Terms & Conditions
The present general conditions are complemented by the particular participation conditions presented in the program of each activity promoted by GO (Go Outdoor, Lda.).
1.   Licence 1.1.   GO is a touristic services company, based in Penela - Portugal, legally entitled by the Portuguese Government body Turismo de Portugal, I. P. with the license n.º 47/2007.  2.   Inscriptions and Payments 2.1.   The inscription will be accepted when received the inscription formulary correctly filled and undersigned, with the payment of the overall activity price. 2.2.   The payment can be done by three different ways:

2.4.   It won't be accepted inscriptions in the starting place of the activity.  3.   Prices 3.1.   The activity prices are based on, between other factors, the services costs, insurance, meals, tickets to museums or other cultural places, transportation, etc. The price also includes VAT, except in cases where the opposite is referred. 3.2.   To GO is reserved the right to change the activity prices due to variation in the services costs or other factors not attributable to the company. Always when a price change, the client is informed and invited to accept the new price in a fixed time or to cancel his inscription. When the client decide to cancel his inscription due do the price change, the money already paid is reimbursed. 3.3.   The activities prices don't include the transport to the meeting point or personal expenses.  4.   Luggage transportation 4.1.   Client's luggage transportation between the accommodation in the end of a stage and the next accommodation, as defined in the program of the activities that include this service. The client must have prepared his luggage before the departure and GO compromises to put it available in the next accommodation, according to the activity's itinerary. It is not allowed to include in this luggage money, credit cards, personal documents (Identity card, flight tickets, passport, etc.) or any other document which loss can complicate the normal execution of the travel plan. GO is not responsible for the client disrespect for this interdiction. If there is any fragile object in his luggage, the client must communicate to GO, and pack it properly.  5.   Insurance 5.1.   All the activities prepared by Go Outdoor are covered under Personal Accident Insurance (Licence n.º 027/00006097/000, Liberty Europeia Seguros, S.A.) that includes the payment of treatment costs and repatriation, including hospital internment and medication, until the annual value of € 3 500, and payment of de um capital de € 20 000, in case of dead or permanent invalidity of its costumers., When costumers are aged less than 14 years, in case of dead, the capital is reduced to the reimburse of the funeral expenses until the value of € 3 000. 5.2.   GO's professional activities are covered under civil responsibility insurance (Licence n.º 095/0096074/000, Liberty Europeia Seguros, S.A.) assuring € 50 000 by sinister.  6.   Difficulty level 6.1.   Our programs are accessible to every healthy and reasonably fit person. To help you to choose the best program to your physical condition, we present next to each program a table with information like the kind of program, difficulty, duration, distance, accumulated climbing, place, recommendable season and number (max. and min.) of participants. 6.2.   The difficulty level of each program is defined based on three factors:
 7.  Client Responsibility 7.1.  The client must respect the time established to start the activities, as well as the intermediary timetable defined by the guide. Delays, besides manifest careless and disrespect to the other participants, can imply the impossibility to realize part of the activity. 7.2.  The client is responsible to choose a program appropriated to his capacities, physical preparation and health and should provide personal information before the start of the activity. 7.3.  During the activity the client must follow the environmental recommendations, the laws and other established rules according to the guide indications, and respect the other participant's privacy rights. 7.4.  It won't be reason to reimburse if the client arrives late to an activity or leaves earlier, or if the client doesn't enjoy a meal or service included in the program. 7.5.  At the inscription act GO should be informed about eventual specific needs of the client (food restrictions or other).
8.1.  Aiming to ensure a better safety and well being in the activities, GO reserves the right to change its hour, place and structure if the weather conditions, or other factors, not attributable to the company, determine the change.  9.  Desistence and Reimbursement 9.1.  If the client decides to give up from the activity, he must communicate in writing to GO, by e-mail or postal mail, otherwise he may be obliged to pay the activity costs or loose the overall value already paid. 9.2.  The client absence in the place, day and time pre established to the activity beginning is considered as desistence and leads to the loss of the overall amount paid, without reason to complaint. 9.3.  Delays of 15 minutes or more after the established start time for the activity are considered as absence.  10.  Inability to comply 10.1.  If the activity is adjourned or cancelled for some reason not attributable to Go Outdoor, the costumer may choose between the reimbursements of the overall inscription value or change his inscription to other activity with equivalent price. If the other activity's price is higher or lower than the first, the costumer may receive the reimbursement or pay the difference, respectively. If a new date is proposed to the activity, the costumer can choose to maintain his inscription to that date. 10.2.  If number of participants doesn't reach the minimum indicated in the activity's program, GO can: • Maintain the activity with a reduced number of participants by the payment of a supplement;
11.1.  GO Is not responsible for body injuries or material damages resulting from: physical exhaustion due to activity inadequacy to the participant's physical capacities; transportations not included on the activity; forces of nature; drugs or alcohol consumption; prison or abduction; terrorism; lack or limited access to a medicaments or medical assistance on remote areas; altitude sickness and medical assistance adequacy when provided. 11.2.  GO is not responsible for body injuries or material damages resulting from any other factors not referred, not attributable to the company.
12.1.  Any client image taken during our activities can be used by the company without any cost or duty to pay the client, to illustrate company's publicity and promotional material such as catalogs, slides, posters, videos and Internet. When minors, GO compromise to safeguard as more as possible the clients identity, publishing only pictures where they are not immediately recognized. |
